Vasco da Gama (in Portuguese), commonly French in Vasco de Gama, born in 1469 in Sines in Portugal and died December 24, 1524 in Cochin in India, is a great Portuguese navigator, traditionally considered the first European to arrive in India by sea route bypassing the Cape of Good Hope, in 1498.

Caryatid plaster great handsome with a beautiful old patina, coming from a monastery. 19th century, and probably took a facade / wall.
In good condition, with tiny chips due to age and use.
More than 100 cm high and +/- 15 kg heavy.
It is very beautiful in the garden or on the veranda, but also in an elegant living room as corner decoration, hanging on the wall or standing in the window sill (the pictures speak for themselves).
It is beautifully detailed and decorated and has a cream / old white color with bronze / gold painted accents.
